Golden October 2018

The current weather conditions are amazing! With constant high pressure conditions, there is one clear night after the other. While during the day, temperatures are nice and warm, we have cool nights and soon 10 hours of astronomical darkness.

Of course, I am making use of as many clear nights as possible and try to learn more about my monochrome CMOS camera. While during nights with little moon light I mainly shoot the L and R,G,B channels, I am using the narrow band filters for nights when the moon approaches full moon.

That way, I constantly can add new pictures of new targets to my personal collection of "best of" photos.
These are some examples from October 2018.
